We started Scientiam because we wanted to help more people and could not find the solution – so we built it!
The team has taken a few years to work through the systems, compliance, and best models to bring you an innovative solution that helps advisers share their knowledge, provides access to very smart diversified portfolios and delivers a great digital experience for thousands of people rather than a lucky few.
While we may be a tech business, people are our most important asset!

Founder - Nigel Baker
I’ve been in the industry for over 20 years as a Chartered Accountant and Certified Financial Planner. Across those years, I’ve worked in big banks, small firms and headed up the wealth team in Sydney for one of Australia’s largest listed accounting groups. I then started Arch Capital, a privately owned financial advice and tax practice in Sydney, Australia.
The industry has changed a lot, and I truly believe that if you are an adviser, now is a great time to build a business that can significantly impact people’s lives.
I live in Sydney, have three kids and building Scientiam was really about wanting to share some amazing knowledge with more people that is hard to access, yet I’ve seen these ideas make a huge difference to clients’ lives over the past twenty years.
